What are Credits on aiXplain?

Modified on Thu, Jun 1, 2023 at 8:31 AM

At aiXplain, we strive to provide a seamless experience to our users. To make it easy for you to keep track of your running costs, we have implemented a credit system. This article will explain how our credit system works.

What are Credits?

Credits are the currency used on aiXplain. Each credit is equivalent to $1, and the cost for credits for each model is set by the supplier. Our platform does not charge any additional fees, ensuring that you always receive the best price that aligns with the supplier.

How are Credits Deducted?

The cost of each model may vary depending on its complexity, accuracy, and overall quality.

When you run models through benchmarking, credits are deducted based on the size of the model and dataset size.

If you use Designer to create and execute a pipeline, the system will deduct credits from your account accordingly. If you use multiple models in a single pipeline, the total cost will be calculated as a sum of the individual costs.

Tracking Credit Usage

The aiXplain platform makes it easy for users to keep track of their credit usage. Your total account credits are reflected on the top right-hand side of the screen. If you click on the top-right corner, here you will see:

·       Add Credits: You can add credits to your account by clicking on the "Add Credits" button. You may choose to top up using a Credit Card or Google Pay.

·       View Transactions: If you want to see your latest or recurrent transactions, you can go to the Transactions page. Here, you can view your attached payment methods, usage, statistics, transaction history, or recurring transaction history.

·       Transaction History: Under transaction history, you can view your various run jobs, such as benchmarking for various model API calls. These rows are also clickable and will display more precise information, such as the cost of each model used within the benchmark job.

Conclusion

We hope this article has provided you with a better understanding of how the aiXplain credit system works. We aim to make it easy for you to keep track of your running costs so you can focus on what you do best. If you have any further questions, please don't hesitate to reach out to our customer support team.
